I’ve stopped drinking soda in an attempt to get thin so maybe you’ll glance towards me, but I don’t think that will happen; you’ve got nicer things to look at like all the boys in your hand but, like me, you’ll crush them in your fingers but I wish you at least had given me a chance. Your siege on my heart is constant. I’m raising up the white flag so you’ll win for you wage war so flawlessly that I can’t even get a shot in. Now you’re off at college where you’ll capture some boy’s lower heart and he’ll know the secret that I didn’t of performing the art of charming you so slyly with words I could only dream. Well, I hope you break your back falling for him and wish you had just settled for me.

I slip I fall on ice and into the snow. I get back up but now I am so goddamn cold. Can you lend me a sweater? Can you help me find myself? I am so glad I met you. I lost my mind. I have no time for this shit anymore. It’s been a while since I’ve had anything that goes my way. Can you give me your time? Can you help me find myself? I’m down… I’ve been spinning around. Can you pick me up from this mess? Can you help me find myself?

I shoot up with your nail polish to remember what you smell like. Out of all these specks of dust, you’re my current favorite. You deserve nothing less than the stars that awe you; yet I have the audacity to present you with a lighter. You’re a poem and I’m a silly cartoon but I’m trying to be real; not a robot anymore. My stomach fills with pterodactyls when your emerald eyes want to eat me. I just hope I taste good but I know I won’t be sweet enough. Death is hungry so why don’t you kiss me as many times as you can before his order is up? I want to be that spider you swallow in your sleep, suffocating in your guts; dying, but warm. In about a month, I’ll be coming back. But will you answer your phone? Will you answer it? Will you?
